Farm the Future
Feed the Movement
We are collaboratively building a new system to transforms our access to food and land.

Our Work
Across two spaces we joyfully build community wealth by reshaping access to nutritional food, land and resources for Black growers and the community. We aim to design a new system that transforms growing, food insecurity and environmentalism in the UK.

Black Farmer's Market
Once a year we host a Black Farmer's Market in South London to highlight our growers, farmers, small business owners and saviours from our community. It's an extraordinary market coated with an 90s-nostalgic feel and diverse opportunity to shop, eat, dance and learn.

Our Market Garden
Also known as our Urban Farm, the Black Growth Market Garden is located on Roots Allotment in Croydon, Coulsdon. This space is the seed of a new system that nurtures climate and socio-economic justice through a circular, community-led approach to food, land and learning.
Here, we grow, teach, care, connect and build.

Community Days
Every last Saturday of the month we gather people from our local and wider community to learn a new theme in agriculture and growing. The teachings vary from Apple Tree Planting, Shed Building, Herb Gardening to Garlic Braiding and more. We use these days to teach and grow community whilst restoring the relationship between Black people and land.

Consultancy
We are a collective of professionals with diverse expertise across funding, marketing, design, strategy and business. Our work has supported businesses, growers and individuals across South London, and we are committed to sharing this knowledge more widely with those who seek it.
